The last trees have disappeared behind the dunes an hour ago. Shadows flow along the tracks left by our camels as the light becomes grazing. Finally, in a cathedral silence, the force of the desert manifests itself to us, a force of an infinity of grains of sand in motion since the dawn of time, like a tide that advances relentlessly to swallow the world.
